GoHighLevel Development
We help businesses and agencies extend GoHighLevel with custom workflows, API integrations, conditional functionality and automation when standard configuration is not enough.
Engineering software and automation solutions since 2012.
Beyond Standard GoHighLevel Configuration
The Problem
GoHighLevel covers a lot out of the box. The engineering work starts where the standard settings stop:
GoHighLevel Capabilities
Advanced workflows driven by lead, contact and opportunity conditions that go beyond standard triggers.
Two-way connections between GoHighLevel and external platforms using API v2 and OAuth 2.0.
Buttons, actions and interface behaviour the standard screens do not offer, built on supported customization points.
Repeatable configuration patterns that roll out consistently across agency and SaaS sub-accounts.
GoHighLevel events received, validated and routed to the downstream systems that need them.
Backend logic on services such as AWS Lambda, so privileged processing runs outside the browser.
Engineering Approach
We approach GoHighLevel work as software engineering rather than one-off configuration. These are the principles we work to.
01
Frontend customization handles user interaction; privileged integration logic belongs in the backend.
02
We use supported interfaces wherever possible instead of fragile browser-only workarounds.
03
Custom interface behaviour stays independent from backend workflow and integration processing.
04
We account for authentication, retries, errors, logging and long-term maintainability.

AWS Lambda
GoHighLevel Workflow
The required custom action was not available natively inside the GoHighLevel Contacts interface, and it needed to appear only when specific contact conditions were met.
A custom JavaScript extension evaluates the current contact context and displays the action only when the required conditions are met. Clicking the action calls an AWS Lambda backend, which handles the server-side logic and triggers the required GoHighLevel workflow.
Lambda keeps privileged logic out of the browser, avoids exposing integration behaviour client-side and gives the integration a controlled layer.
A conditional workflow action that the standard interface did not offer, with the backend logic kept outside the browser.
Integration Architecture
CRM and ERP systems, internal applications, databases, payment and communication platforms.
The component where the rules can live:
API v2, OAuth 2.0 and webhook events.
Contacts, opportunities, workflows and sub-accounts.
Data and actions move in both directions. Not every integration needs every part of this layer; it is sized to the requirement.

Scope of Work
Is This You?
You need conditional behaviour or a workflow that standard GoHighLevel configuration cannot model.
You need data or actions to move between GoHighLevel and existing applications.
You need secure backend processing or serverless execution.
You need repeatable implementation across sub-accounts or SaaS environments.
You need clearer separation between workflow, integration and custom code.
Not sure which applies?

FAQ
Yes. We start by reviewing your existing workflows, integrations and account structure, then introduce changes around what is already working.
It depends on the APIs, webhooks and supported customization points available for that part of the platform. Where GoHighLevel has no direct option, an external service can sometimes provide the missing layer. We confirm feasibility before committing to an approach.
Yes, where a supported API or webhook is available on either side. We usually place an integration layer between the two so that each system can change without breaking the other.
Yes, including reusable patterns across sub-accounts where the platform and the use case support them.
Yes, where integration or business logic is better handled outside the browser or the CRM workflow layer. We typically use serverless services such as AWS Lambda for this.
